This year’s events include:

• "Bone Marrow &Cord Blood Awareness Week” Kick-Off and press conference
• "Spare Cells, Saves Lives" Gala with Olympic Champion Carl Lewis
• Bone marrow and umbilical cord donor recruitment drives at several locations
• "Spare Cells, Saves Lives" awareness events including a health fair, celebrity flag football game and free haircuts

Since 2010, Preserve Our Legacy (POL) has partnered with New York Assemblyman Keith L.T. Wright (Sponsor of NY A04294 -Jaden's Law) and MCNY to host a week of bone marrow drives and cord blood donation awareness.  
 
This year's annual fundraiser theme is "Spare Cells, Saves Lives".  POL recognizes that ignorance, lack of resources and disconnection with the community are key factors regarding the need for Bone Marrow & Umbilical Cord Blood Awareness.
 
Your support will assist Preserve Our Legacy with registering bone marrow donors through BMRN and our continued awareness campaigns throughout the world.
