On June 14th, 2012 Preserve Our Legacy, INC co-founders Brett and Shana Melius appeared on the Sway in the Morning Show with host Sway Calloway on SirriusXM Radios' Shade 45. In wake of Robin Roberts’ (Good Morning America) announcement that she will be undergoing a bone marrow transplant they discussed her situation and what she said about the need for minority donors. They also discussed the importance of umbilical cord blood donations for minorities and the effect of bone marrow stem cell treatments as the only cure for Sickle Cell disease. During the show they took callers with various questions and Sway expressed his enthusiasm about the cause and said he will help spread the word.
